We did it !! And there’s more to come.
Twelve months ago Rotary clubs throughout Britain and Ireland were taking on the challenge of raising £1million in a week to help Rotary International achieve its aim of ridding the world of the last few cases of Polio and producing a Polio-Free world.
This week is was announced that the sum already accounted for, that clubs have raised during the last week of February this year, has exceeded the target. Yes, and there is still more to come. How much more, you ask? Only time will tell.
